I discovered Jajah a few months ago but have become an avid user only in the past few weeks. Skype has become almost impossible to use as a VoIP service ( I have no idea why but the quality is terrible). The service is very convenient and so cheap ! For calls between Jajah users, it is even free under certain conditions. This is very useful to call our people around the world.
I was trying to explain the Jajah concept to other people but found it difficult to do it in a simple way. Once you understand it, it is so simple and so powerful, no wonder Jajah is skyrocketing !
By the way there is a great Firefox add-on for Jajah users. Also be sure to check Jajah for mobile phone (unfortunately they do not have a version for my Blackberry Pearl)
See how difficult it is to explain ? I was hoping you could that ine just one line :-)

Salut Mathieu,
I'm glad you like our service and highly appreciate your great blog post!
A simple wrapped-up explanation could be:
"JAJAH is free or low-cost global calling with your regular phone. There is no headset, no download, no software and no broadband connection needed. You are using your existing phone (landline or mobile) and so is the person you are calling. You can call your friends for free, no matter if they are online or not. Type in your number and the number you want to call at www.jajah.com, your phone will ring, pick it up and you'll be connected to the desired destination."
Please try out our download-free Jajah Mobile Web at http://mobile.jajah.com which should work fine with your Blackberry Pearl's internal browser, it was especially developed for smartphones like yours.
Get back to me if you have any further questions.
Merci bien et salutations,
Frédéric
